Tawang Deputy Commissioner inks MoU with Indian Oil Corporation (IOC)

Itanagar: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and Deputy Commissioner of Tawang district at Tawang on Wednesday, wherein a total amount of Rs 60.48 lakh has been approved for providing financial assistance for purchase of surgical and aesthetic equipments for general and obstetrical & gynaecological surgery at Khandro Drowa Tsangmu District Hospital Tawang.

The fifty per cent payment of the amount would be made after execution of this understanding, whereas the balance payment would be made after obtaining installation report from the DC and inspection by a committee of IOC, an official release informed here on Thursday. IOC General Manager (Finance) Kallal Mittal, Deputy General Manager (HR-CSR) Diganta Thakuria, Tawang district medical officer (DMO) Dr Wangdi Lama and Medical Superintendent of Khandro Drowa Tsangmu Dist Hospital Dr N Namshum and OSD to Chief Minister Nawang Sempa were present on the occasion, the release added.
