Two waterlogged villages cleared

ITANAGAR, July 9: A social service was carried out by the Balijan administration at flood hit Hollongi Patila village on Monday. ADC Incharge Nabam Tajik led the social service cleared several bottleneck of the water logging area of the village of Panka Nallah and other area of Hollongi Patila village. The social service was initiated after the local MLA and cabinet Minister Nabam Rebia led Deputy Commissioner Dr. Joram Beda and other heads of department of district visited the flood hit village on July 3.

19 houses were submerged by the heavy downpour and several river and Panka nallah in the area.

Youth leader of Hollongi area Yowa Bullet, Taba Takar and Nabam Tango also joined alongwith former Panchayat leaders and social workers and local residents of the area.
