BORDUMSA: Rendering the general constituency of Bordumsa -Diyun an infrastructural and educational boost, Independent MLA of the constituency Somlung Mossang, together with Deputy Commissioner of Changlang Devansh Yadav inaugurated four meaningful projects across the constituency on Saturday.

Two double-storeyed buildings of upgraded schools at Bijoypur in Bordumsa and Dumpather in Diyun were inaugurated. A double unit Nurses' barrack at Bijoypur and a Common Hajong Community Hall along with a boundary wall at Modhuour in Diyun were also formally inaugurated by the duo in the presence of officials of the executing departments, EAC Diyun, officials of the Education Department, doctors and public leaders.

"Stressing firmly upon women empowerment, I do believe that women can prove better than their male counterparts in managing day-to-day administration of a family and society as well," remarked Mossang in Dumpather during his address.

"I shall provide a special thrust to accommodate the women of the constituency, absorbing them in various projects at the grass-root level because I believe that the women change the society in a desirable manner," asserted Mossang.

"My Hajong brethern have set an example by opting for a common community hall for all the villages, which is not only economical in terms of resource utilization but also helps in fostering unity," lauded the MLA.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Yadav motivated the teachers to ensure quality education to the students with the resources already available, instead of focussing on shortcomings. Urging for punctuality and dedication, he desired that the pass percentage be improved in schools, besides maintaining a hygienic atmosphere in the school premises.

Lauding the pace of development taking place across the constituency, the Deputy Commissioner said that such a developmental trend is nothing but the outcome of a perfect homogeneity and coordination among the district administration, local legislator and executing departments.

Yadav also threw ample light on various schemes of the Government and motivated them to get optimal benefits of the projects, chiefly on health, education, hygiene and sanitation.

Further, announcing the Government's incentives in the form of monetary benefits for every institutional delivery of a child, the top bureaucrat said, "I am expecting hundred per cent institutional delivery and thereby set Changlang as a model district across the State of Arunachal Pradesh."
