Yomcha all set to host sports carnival in West Siang district, Arunachal

Itanagar: The Yomcha Subdivision under Liromoba constituency in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh is all set to host the fourth edition of the sports carnival from November 14 to 24 next at Yomcha General Ground.

The week-long carnival will open up sports extravaganzas like football, volleyball, marathon race besides showcasing local cuisine and exhibiting traditional ornaments and crafts.

A carnival is an annual event conceived by MLA Nyamar Karbak to spot hidden sports talents from the constituency, an official communique informed.

The occasion would be graced by Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Mama Natung and Karbak, the communique added.
