ITANAGAR: Ziro in Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh is ‘set’ to expect a bumper Kiwi harvest, according to an inspection report of an expert team.

The team comprising Gyati Loder, secretary Kiwi Gardens Cooperative Society, District Horticulture Officer Komri Murtem, Horticulture Development Officer Pura Obing, visited the kiwi gardens in and around Ziro, recently. They attributed the bumper harvest this year to scientific cultivation management adopted by the farmers coupled with favourable climatic conditions during pollination and fruit setting time. During the inspection, the DHO distributed gardening tools to the farmers.
