Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu wishes Bala Devi for the upcoming Scottish Women Premier League

Just days to go for the Scottish Women Premier League to kick start from October 18. Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu took to Twitter to wish Manipur's Bala Devi for her first-ever match with the foreign football club – Scottish Club 'Rangers FC'.

The 29-year-old Manipuri striker who made history by becoming the first-ever Indian woman footballer to bag a professional contract from a foreign club is among a group of 14 new players signed by the Scottish club. Currently donning the number 10 jersey for the Rangers' women's side, Devi made the switch to Scotland in March 2020.
