1 Civilian Injured In Firing In Assam's Cachar District

Cachar: Another incident of firing took place in Cachar along the Assam-Manipur border on Tuesday.

Reportedly, only one round of shot was fired and it led to the injury of one civilian. However, no casualties have been reported as of now.

Suspected militants belonging to the NSCM-IM militant outfit allegedly fired this shot.

The injured person has been admitted to the Silchar Medical College Hospital in Cachar, Assam.

Cachar SP Ramandeep Kaur led Police team has rushed to the site of this incident to investigate this matter.
