GAURISAGAR: Sankar Madhab Natya Gosthi, one of the prominent cultural troupes of Gaurisagar in Sivasagar district, organized a 10-day long workshop on Borgeet, Gayan-Bayon, and Dohar which concluded on Tuesday. Cultural activists Amlanjyoti Kalita, Rupottam Kalita, and Jyotishman Kalita were the resource persons for Gayan Bayan. Ashim Dutta, Assistant Teacher and social worker of Charingia  Puranimelia ME School,  senior journalist Rajib Dutta, video journalist Samiran Duwara, Bhaona artiste Utpal Kakati, Prasenjit Gogoi, Secretary, Axam Xahitya Sabha, Jhanji branch, and cultural activists Montu Kalita and others were present as distinguished guests. The function was anchored by Bakul Kalita, noted cultural activist and social worker.

Earlier, the Skill Abacus Gaurisagar Centre organized a workshop on ‘Mental Power- Mid Brain Activation.’ Nationally renowned mind power expert Rupantar Chaorak graced the workshop as the resource person. In the closing function, the Mid-Ben trainees blindfolded themselves and named different colours, pictures, money numbers, etc. One of the trainees surprised everyone present by identifying his mother from the audience while blindfolded. A good number of guardians also attended the closing ceremony.
