10 Injured After Bus Falls Into Gorge In Assam's Sivasagar District

Guwahati: In yet another case of a mishap, at least 10 people were left injured in a road accident in Assam's Sivasagar district on Monday.

According to reports, the passenger, who was travelling in the bus lost control and fell in a gorge in the Deseng Rahabari area.

The bus was en route to Duliajan from Guwahati when the incident occurred.

The injured persons were taken to a hospital in Demow for treatment.

Meanwhile, in another road accident that occurred in Assam's Orang on Monday, two people were killed on the spot while another was injured.

The mishap happened when a truck collided with a tanker at National Highway 15 in Sarbaherua.

Unfortunately, the drivers of both trucks were killed on the spot while the helper of the trucks was left injured.

The deceased driver of the tanker was identified as one Ram Basumatary from Assam's Baksa district. On the other hand, the identity of other drivers is yet to be established.
