10-Year-Old Minor Boy Allegedly Raped by Transgender at Lachit Ghat in Guwahati; Police Steps Up

Guwahati: A ten-year-old minor boy has allegedly been raped by a transgender miscreant near Machkhowa's Lachit Ghat in Guwahati, Assam.

The boy said that he earns his livelihood by cleaning the ears of individuals on a daily basis. 

While describing the horrific incident, the minor boy revealed that the transgender miscreant had first taken away all his belongings. He was later tied up for one whole day somewhere near the construction site of the new bridge that connects South Guwahati and North Guwahati.

The boy was found covered in mud and alleged that the transgender miscreant had raped him. The police soon reached the site and said that preliminary investigations will be will soon begin.

In another incident involving transgenders, a journalist had described her encounter with a transgender on social media. According to her, the transgender had abused, attacked and threatened her with murder in Assam's Dhupdhora on Monday.

The transgender allegedly spat on her when she tried to record a video of the transgender. Later, an FIR was lodged against the transgender who got aggressive and got naked in the police station itself in order to scare her.

The transgender's acquaintances later attacked and hurled abuses at the woman journalist and gave her death threats right in front of the police.
