11 Candidates submit nomination papers in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: With the closing of nomination, 11 candidates have filed nomination for 122 Tinsukia LAC, four candidates for 123 Digboi LAC, seven candidates for 125 Doomdooma LAC, six candidates for 126 Sadiya LAC while the list against 124 Margherita LAC was yet to be compiled till filing of this report.

The 11 candidates who submitted the nomination papers for 122 Tinsukia LAC are-Sanjay Kishan (BJP), Rabin Chandra Kachari (NCP), Probin Kumar Hazarika (Rashtriya Lok Samata Party), Budhinath Prajapati (Political Justice Party), Hira Devi Choudhury (RJD), Samsher Singh (Assam Jatiya Parishad), Swapan Paul (Bharatiya Gana Parishad), Subhashis Bhattacharjee (Ind), Alok Roy (Janata Dal), Chintu Baruah (Lok Janashakti Party) and Fagu Kharia.

The four candidates for 123 Digboi LAC are Suren Phukan (BJP), Shibnath Chetia (INC), Prahlad Nayak (AJP), Jiten Nag (Ind).

The seven candidates for 125 Doomdooma are Durga Bhumij (INC), Rupesh Gowala (BJP), Suresh Bhumij (AJP), Debojit Moran (Ind), Kanak Chetia (Ind), Rajesh Kishan (Ind), and Lakheswar Moran (Ind).

The six candidates for 126 Sadiya LAC are Jagadish Bhuyan (AJP), Bolin Chetia (BJP), Lakhin Chandra Chetia (INC), Lalit Deori (Ind), Rijumoni Gogoi (Ind), Tikendra Thapa (Voters Party International).
