11th Rongali Bihu Sanmilan of Khalihamari Borpukhuripar, Dibrugarh concludes

Dibrugarh: The 11th Rongali Bihu Sanmilan of Khalihamari Borpukhuripar was held on Wednesday. Interestingly, along with the traditional Bihu-centric celebrations and events, a book named Anubhuti was also released in keeping with the spirit of the festival. Speaking at the book launching ceremony, senior writer of Khalihamari, Dilip Lekharu said that the book would prove to be helpful for the future generations in reconstructing and reliving the history of the place.

Senior journalist and editor of the book, Lalit Sharma, in his speech, thanked all the contributors for making valuable contributions to the book. He also hoped for similar cooperation in the days to ensue. The book sheds light on the history of various public institutions and establishments that were in the area, and also recognizes the varied societal services extended by many noted personalities of the area.
