BARPETA: Twelve persons were detected COVID-19 positive on Wednesday in Barpeta district. Among them, 10 were admitted at FAAMCH and two were admitted at Kalgachiya Civil Hospital, Barpeta. There are a total of 143 COVID-19 positive patients in Barpeta district.
The number of quarantine centres has increased to 55 in the district. In these 55 quarantine centres, all total 4,700 people who came from outside have been kept. On Wednesday, total 580 people were sent for home quarantine. Till date, 3,417 persons who were in institutional quarantine centres have been sent to home quarantine.
