MANGALDAI: The District Health Department on Monday conducted RAT test of 3,916 persons against the target of 2,800 persons in different places of the district, of which 13 tested COVID-19 positive.

"We have conducted the test taking samples from 3,916 persons and 13 have been tested positive. We had set a target of 2,800 persons but this test exceeded the target. The district administration meanwhile, has made elaborate arrangements for isolation wards in the hospitals, including Mangaldai Civil Hospital," said Deputy Commissioner Dilip Kumar Borah while talking to The Sentinel.

Of the 13 persons who tested positive, three are from Patharighat area, two from Jaljali area and four each in Kharupetia and Mangaldai.
