13th foundation day of BCPL observed in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh: The 13th foundation day of Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) was celebrated in its administrative building here at Lepetkata.

The foundation day programme commenced with a welcome speech by General Manager (HR) Ashit Das followed by a ceremonial cake cutting by the Managing Director, AK Singh accompanied by senior officials of the company. An award ceremony was also organized to acknowledge the contribution of employees who completed 10 years of service in BCPL. A total of 17 employees from the first batch of Graduate Engineering Trainees/ Executive Trainees who joined in the year 2009 were felicitated with a citation by the Managing Director on the occasion.

The event concluded with the speech of AK Singh, Managing Director wherein he extended warm wishes on the occasion of foundation day and New Year to all the employees and associates. He appreciated the efforts and contributions of employees and stakeholders for their unflinching support towards the company’s growth. The Managing Director expressed his satisfaction with the achievement of various milestones over the years and also said that BCPL needed to grow with capacity expansion and debottlenecking. The event was also observed in BCPL Lakhowa and Duliajan units along with the Guwahati office.
