1,500 people returning from Bengaluru to Guwahati by train

PATHSALA: After the lockdown began, the first train from Bengaluru to Guwahati left the Bangalore Cantonment Railway Station on Monday at 4 pm. The Assam Society of Bangalore started registration for the journey. They received SMS from the Assam Government confirming the journey. On Monday, from 6 am onwards people started assembling at Palace Ground, Bengaluru where they had to undergo screening and after that they were taken to the railway station. Around 1500 people are travelling in this passenger train.

The people on the way back to their home State thanked the Assam Government and the Assam Society of Bangalore for making the necessary arrangements.
