16 isolation coaches for COVID patients prepared at New Bongaigaon Railway junction

BONGAIGAON: In the fight against COVID-19, Indian Railway has also extended their helping hand.

The Railway administration has prepared total 16 isolation coaches at New Bongaigaon Railway junction. Bhim Bahadur Sonar, Station Superintendent of New Bongaigaon junction, said that total 16 coaches had already been prepared. "All these are in Platform No 5 of the junction. Each coach is equipped with 18 beds and so total isolation facility is 288. The district administration has been informed about these coaches and these coaches may be used anytime," he said.

As per sources, these coaches will have 24 hours doctor facility along with internet facility also. These isolation coaches are expected to be a great help to the civil administration in this pandemic situation.
