17 students, 4 teachers test positive for COVID-19 in Sivasagar
Along with the rest of the State, schools in Sivasagar district too have reopened after more than one year due to the COVID situation. On one hand, while most of the students expressed happiness over schools being reopened, reports of COVID cases have once again created a panic situation among the students, parents and teachers.

SIVASAGAR: Along with the rest of the State, schools in Sivasagar district too have reopened after more than one year due to the COVID situation. On one hand, while most of the students expressed happiness over schools being reopened, reports of COVID cases have once again created a panic situation among the students, parents and teachers.
In Diksu High School of Namti in Sivasagar district, four teachers and 17 students tested positive for COVID-19. Two teachers were found positive on Thursday. Accordingly, rapid antigen tests were carried out among 92 students and remaining teachers of the school on Friday and two more teachers along with 17 students were tested positive.
