JAGUN: In a shocking incident, a 17 year-old boy got drowned while taking bath in Jagun 9 Mile Tirap River on Saturday evening around 3 pm. The victim was identified as Roshal Tamang (17), inhabitant of Jagun Lakla village area under Lekhapani Police Station in Tinsukia district. According to sources, the victim went to the river along with his five friends and while taking bath, he accidentally slipped and drowned. His friends cried for help and some local people rushed to the spot but could not locate the victim due to heavy stream of current in the water. Jagun police outpost initiated the search operation.
