18 persons in Golaghat district test positive for COVID-19

GOLAGHAT: As many as 18 persons tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday in Golaghat district till filing of this report. As per official report, the 18 persons had returned from other States and were kept in various quarantine centres in the district. The patients were shifted to the COVID-19 hospital from the quarantine centres.

So far on Wednesday, Golaghat district reported 18 cases and the total number of COVID-19 cases in the district has risen to 202. Out of this, 21 patients from Golaghat COVID-19 Hospital and seven from Jorhat Medical and College and Hospital (JMCH) have been discharged. In Golaghat district, the number of active cases is 174.
