1,965 persons in Dhubri avail GVK EMRI Adarani service during lockdown

GVK EMRI Adarani has been rendering service to newborn babies and mothers throughout Dhubri district during the lockdown

DHUBRI: The GVK EMRI Adarani has been rendering service to newborn babies and mothers throughout Dhubri district during the lockdown. The Adarani service offers free vehicle drops for patients to their homes post-delivery.

Though there are many rules and regulations to follow during the lockdown, the Adarani drivers did a tremendous job in taking the patients to their homes with utmost care. Since the declaration of lockdown on March 24 till June 9, a total of 1,965 beneficiaries have availed of this service in Dhubri district that has a total of 11 Adarani vehicles, said a source.
