2 Containment Zones declared in Assam's North Lakhimpur

Guwahati: In view of the spike in positive Covid-19 cases, two areas in Assam's North Lakhimpur has been declared as containment zones by the district administration.

After detecting 17 cases, the district administration has declared Milan Nagar area of Ward 10 of North Lakhimpur as a containment zone.

Similarly, the headquarters of the 13 Assam Police Battalion in Lilabari has also been declared a containment zone following the report of 17 personnel testing positive for the virus

It is to be mentioned that the total number of COVID-19 positive cases detected in Lakhimpur district has crossed 500 on Monday, July 27.
