2 held in kidnapping-murder case at Howraghat

HOWRAGHAT: Two youths were held by Manja, Khatkhati and Dhansiri Police in a kidnapping and murder case. According to police sources, one Kajal Das, a vendor by profession of Langsoliet area under Borlangpher police station, was kidnapped on December 28, 2019, and later murdered by the kidnappers.

In this regard, two youths were held who have been identified as Rajesh Engti and Kensing Tisso. Rajesh Engti of Manja locality was apprehended on Monday while Kensing Tisoo was held on Tuesday from Bakalia by the police. The body of Kajal Das was recovered on Tuesday in the forest area of Langsoliet near the railway track on the basis of confession made by the two arrested kidnappers. Another person involved in the case is in absconding, police sources said.
