2 more die of COVID in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: Two persons lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Sonitpur district on Friday. They have been identified as Amal Chandra Rai (67), resident of Jiagabharu Missamari, Narayan Kar (64), resident of Gatgaon, Thelamara in Sonitpur district , COVID-19 , TMCHwho died at TMCH, taking the death toll to 170 in the district during the second wave of the pandemic. Altogether 7,950 tests were done across the district on Friday out of which 7,674 were RAT and rest RT-PCR and among the new 295 positive cases found, 276 cases were from RAT and 19 from RT-PCR.
