21 released from Nagrijuli COVID-19 hospital in Tamulpur Subdivision

BAKSA: Community transmission of COVID-19 has created terror amongst people in Tamulpur Subdivision in the district of Baksa. Day by day more people are being infected by COVID-19 in Tamulpur Subdivision.

From July 27 to 31, as many as 34 COVID patients were admitted for treatment at the COVID-19 hospital situated at Nagrijuli Model Hospital. On July 31 after rapid test of those patients, 21 patients tested negative. On Saturday morning those 21 persons were released from the Nagrijuli COVID-19 Hospital. Before releasing, were felicitated with Fulam Gamosa by medical authority of Nagrijuli Model Hospital and COVID-19 treatment centre where Dr. Cinmoy Das (Superintendent of Nagrijuli Model Hospital), Dr. Giridhar Brahma, (Nodel Officer), Dr. Manohar Das, Dr. Sansarang Basumatary, Dr. Dipul Swargiary, Dr. Arindam Kalita, Dr. Himakhshi Boro and all the health workers were present.

All released persons were sent back to their homes with an advice to be in home quarantine for 14 days. On Saturday 14 new positive patients were admitted at Nagrijuli COVID-19 Hospital. Now 27 patients are under treatment at the hospital.
