264 IMFL bottles seized by Chhaygaon police, one arrested

PALASBARI: Acting on a tip-off, a team of Chhaygaon police, led by Officer-in-charge Kapil Pathak seized 264 bottles of IMFL (made in Arunachal) on Friday night. Police sources said that a raid was conducted at Batakuchi area and the police seized 264 IMFL bottles worth Rs 50,000 from a house of Kumud Das, a resident of Batakuchi under Chhaygaon constituency. Chhaygaon Police arrested him and handed him over to Chhaygaon PS. In this regard a case has been registered at the Chhaygaon Police station.
