280 COVID cases reported in Tinsukia district

TINSUKIA: Tinsukia district on Wednesday recorded highest ever COVID positive cases in a single day. According to district health bulletin, as many as 280 positive cases have been detected out of 3421 RAT and 716 RT-PCR tests. Though as per report, the number of positive cases is receding elsewhere in Assam, Tinsukia district's position is alarming and shows upward trends. Virtually there was no improvement. As the number of tests is being enhanced since past three days, the positive cases too proportionately increased.
