299.7 kg cannabis seized in Simalbari village

UDALGURI: Following an input, the 23 battalion SSB of BOP Kachhubil and Bhairabkunda Police Outpost laid a joint naka and seized 299.7 kg cannabis in 21 bags. The bags were recovered from a jungle of Simalbari village. Keeping an eye of the incident, Praveen Kumar, the Commandant of 23 battalion SSB Lalpool, said that the jawans were working to stop such kind of illegal activities in the border areas.
