3 injured in road mishap in Demow

DEMOW: A road accident took place in Demow-Nitai Road on Monday afternoon where a Bolero Car (AS 33 6888) which was coming at a high speed skidded off the road. The accident occurred in front of the Demow River Bridge. The car, before skidding off, hit a roadside vendor named Nabadeep Chetia, a pig meat seller and a customer named Khagen Bhuyan. Khagen Bhuyan was seriously injured and Nabadeep Chetia and Deepjyoti Lahon, the driver of the car were also injured. They were sent to Demow Model Hospital for treatment. Khagen Bhuyan was referred to Dibrugarh for better treatment.
