30 passengers injured in road mishap at Borgaon

SARUPATHAR: A Bolero pick-up van met with an accident in Barpathar, Silonijan road at Borgaon on Monday. The van was returning from Langmili Yuva Convention to Rongbonghat at Karbi-Anglong. More than 30 passengers were injured in this mishap. The injured passengers raised an alarm after the incident and the local people gathered on the spot and all the injured passengers were immediately shifted to Sarupathar CHC, Barpathar CHC and Golaghat civil hospital by another vehicle. According to the report, six passengers were seriously injured and immediately referred to the Golaghat civil hospital for further treatment.
