30th Convocation of Gauhati University to be held on February 24

GUWAHATI: The 30th Convocation of Gauhati University will be held on February 24 for conferring various degrees/diplomas/certificates to the successful candidates (of both regular and distance mode) of all examinations for which results were declared during the period from March 1, 2022 up to January 31, 2023. Eligible candidates desirous of attending the convocation can apply online only the GU website (www.gauhati.ac.in) from January 20 to February 5.

A joint meeting of the steering committee and the conveners of the sub-committees constituted for the smooth conduct of the 30th convocation was held on Friday, under the chairmanship of Prof. Pratap Jyoti Handique, Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University to discuss preparation for the convocation. Preparation for the event is going on full swing with Prof. Partha Pratim Baruah as the coordinator, stated a press release.
