30th Tanu Konger Memorial All Assam Inter-College Debate Competition held

SIVASAGAR:  The 30th Tanu Konger Memorial All Assam Inter-College Debate Competition was held at the Academic Gallery, Gargaon College on October 9. The event moderated by Dr Anjan Konwar, Joint Coordinator of the event, began with the College Anthem by the students followed by smriti tarpan by Dr Rina Handique, Vice Principal of Gargaon College, along with the other dignitaries. The event was inaugurated by renowned Academician and Principal of Gargaon College, Dr Sabyasachi Mahanta. In this inaugural talk, he highlighted the glorious 30 years of Tanu Konger Memorial All-Assam Debate competition, in keeping with the prestige of the institution which has grown from its humble beginnings to its present structure. Dr Mahanta also enlightened the participants as well as the audience about the significance of the topic.
