31st Bn of Sashastra Seema Bal celebrates 17th Raising Day in Gossaigaon

GOSSAIGAON: The 31st Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Gossaigaon celebrated its 17th Raising day at Battalion Hqr Gossaigaon on Thursday in the limited way by adhering to all guidelines and protocol related to COVID-19.

Inter-company competitions on various types of sports/ athletic, professional skill events, cultural programmes of different cultures were organized and the winners were given prizes. SSB families and children also presented various entertainment programmes.

Divya Ranjan Singh, Commanding Officer of 31st Bn, along with all officers of 31st Bn, on behalf of the Director General SSB, Inspector General, Frontier Guwahati and Deputy Inspector General, Sector HQr SSB Bongaigaon, conveyed their best wishes to all the SSB personnel and their families. Divya Ranjan Singh, Commanding Officer, read out the achievements of the unit since the last one year and briefed the SSB jawans to keep their morale and momentum high. Later a bada khana was also organized.
