31st SSB Bn conducts vocational training for youths in Gossaigaon

GOSSAIGAON: Anthoni Thanmi, Deputy Inspector General Sector Hqr, SSB Bongaigoan inaugurated the one-month Vocational Training Programme being organized by 31st Bn SSB Gossaigaon for the youths of border villages at Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre, Amguri, Kokrajhar (Assam).

Total 16 female candidates for the basic training of tailoring and 16 male candidates for the basic training of electrician are undergoing training of tailoring and electrician for their skill development through this programme.

On this occasion, Anthoni Thanmi, DIG SHQ SSB Bongaigaon, said that the youths of bordering villages will benefit from their skill development in tailoring and electrician skills during this training programme. Surendra Vikram, Commandant, 06th Bn SSB, Divya Ranjan Singh, Commanding Officer, and Sumit Nain, Deputy Commandant of 31st Bn SSB Gossaigaon, Sister Chicilly (Principal), and other dignitaries were present in this opening ceremony.
