4 Hotels & dhabas permitted to open across Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: On the prevailing scenario of the district due to COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing lockdown, Lakhimpur district administration has issued permission to four hotels and dhabas of the district to open for the convenience of drivers and staff of goods carrying vehicles and government officials engaged in COVID-19 duty. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jeevan B has permitted Hotel Blue Diamond, Pothalipam, Chaoldhowa, Meslenka Dhaba, Dhalpur, Gomseng Dhaba, Moinapara, Boginadi and Himangshu Store and Hotel, Jorabari, Narayanpur to open their establishments with minimal staff by issuing an order vide No. NLS 36/EC/2019-2020/103. Notably, the order has emphasized that the permission is accorded to them only to provide essential food items to the drivers and staff of the goods carrying vehicles and government officials engaged in COVID-19 duty.
