4 killed, 1 injured  in Boko mishap at National Highway near Mirza

Rangia, Boko: At least four persons were killed and one injured when a sand-carrying truck had a head-on collision with another truck at the National Highway near Mirza under Kamrup district.

According to Satyendra Singh Hajowari, the sand-carrying truck was going to Guwahati from Mirza. On the other hand, another truck was going from Goalpara to Guwahati. Both trucks had a head-on collision. As a result, four persons were killed on the spot while another person was seriously injured. He was shifted to GMCH.

The deceased were identified as Rafiqul Islam (22), son of Alla Uddin of village Kismatkatmi under Boko police station, Jahangir Alameda (21), son of Abdus Jamad of Boko, and Hanif Ali (25), son of Julmat Ali of village Natun Dewar under Boko Police Station. The fourth person is yet to be identified.
