40-year-old woman allegedly physically assaulted by a person in Bongaigaon

BONGAIGAON: A 40-year-old woman was allegedly physically assaulted by a person in the Doloni area under Jogighopa Police Station of Bongaigaon district.

According to reports, the woman alleged that the accused – Ismail Hussein had borrowed Rs 40,000 from her. On Sunday, when I asked him for the money, he rebuked me using slang language and also assaulted me, the victim woman said. "I somehow managed escape from there. Later I lodged an FIR at Jogighopa PS in this regard," she added.

Meanwhile, the police have started investigation on the case. However, no arrest has been made so far.
