50 COVID positive cases reported in Biswanath district

BISWANATH CHARIALI: A total number of eight persons tested COVID-19 positive in different parts of Biswanath district on Tuesday. With this, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases reached up to 50 in Biswanath district.

Among them, three affected persons have been hospitalized while the rest are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, more than 27,000 people have been vaccinated so far in the district.

The district administration has taken stringent measures to prevent spread of the disease and clamped Section 144 of CrPC. Now, wearing of face masks and maintaining social distancing by masses in public places are compulsory across the district.
