51 COVID-19 positive cases reported in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: In all, 51 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Sonitpur district on Wednesday. Out of the 51 fresh cases, 46 cases were detected from RAT and 5 from RT-PCR. The death toll in the district during the second wave of the pandemic now stands at 223. Altogether 6,379 tests were done across the district on Wednesday, out of which 6,062 were RAT and rest RT-PCR.
