53 brown sugar filled containers seized at Barpeta Road

BARPETA: Acting on a tip-off, the police of Barpetaroad led by police incharge of Barpeta Road Police Station Debananda Das seized 53 containers filled with brown sugar at Simlaguri, on 31 National Highway. It may be mentioned that one Komfed Ali of Sonaitola, Manikpur under Bongaigaon district and Imran Ali of Bijni no 1 Kawadi village were carrying the containers filled with brown sugar on a motor bike (no AS- 15, 3625) from Bongaigaon to Barpeta Road to sell them.
