The 552nd birth anniversary of Guru Nanak was observed at Doomdooma by Assam Sri Guru Singh Sabha on Friday.

DOOMDOOMA: The 552nd birth anniversary of Guru Nanak was observed at Doomdooma by Assam Sri Guru Singh Sabha on Friday.
The programme got underway with Chola Saheb ji Sabha, i.e. change of clothes of the post having the symbol of the Sikh religion.
It was followed by Bhog Sri Sadharan Path, i.e. reading of few pages of Guru Granth Sahib and Shabad Kirtan, i.e. singing of bhajans by the disciples. The programme came to an end with Guru Ka Langar, i.e. offering of prasad to everyone present there. The programme was attended by Major Raman of 14, Assam Regiment, senior journalists Dhiren Deka and Dinesh Goyal and other dignitaries of the locality.
