57,500 narcotic tablets seized in Barpeta, two arrested

BARPETA: The police of Barpeta sadar police station led by officer in-charge Ranjan Doley, in an operation seized 57,500 narcotic tablets named Spasmo Proxivon at Bilortari Hati Nakhanda bridge from a tempo. The tablets were taken from Barpeta Road to Bheraldi village near Barpeta. The tempo driver, Abul Kalam was arrested by the police. The police are investigating the whole matter.
