57th anniversary of Dhing College organized in Nagaon
The alumni association of Dhing College organized a day-long alumni meet on the occasion of celebration of the 57th anniversary of historic Dhing College on Sunday at the college premises.

NAGAON: The alumni association of Dhing College organized a day-long alumni meet on the occasion of celebration of the 57th anniversary of historic Dhing College on Sunday at the college premises.
The programme was initiated with unfurling the flag by Jatin Chandra Nath, president of the alumni association following which Dr Junaram Nath, vice principal of Nagaon Khagarijan College and Anima Bora Thakuria, executive president of alumni association paid floral tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation as well as for betterment of the society. Besides, the earthen lamps were lit at the portraits of former as well as late principals, professors and other non teaching staff of the college too. The programme was initiated by former vice principals Abdul Salam, Enamul Haque, Bishnu Charan Nayak and Manju Neog. Former MLA Mubarak Ali Pathan inaugurated the new office of the alumni association at the college premises here.
