5,83,769 voters to cast vote in Morigaon district, says Deputy Commissioner

MORIGAON: Morigaon district administration has geared up for the second phase of Lok Sabha polls to be held on April 18. A meeting was called by 14 Rituraj Bora at the conference hall. Addressing mediapersons, he called all sections of people to provide full support for smoothly conducting the poll in the district. Total 5,83,769 voters will cast their vote in 812 voting centres in the district. In Jagiroad constituency there are total 2,21,730 voters. Out of 2,21,730 voters, 1,13,003 voters are male and 1,08,712 voters are women.

In Morigaon constituency, there are total 1,83,631 voters. Out of 1,83,631 voters, 92,058 voters are male and 91,566 voters are women. In Laharighat constituency, there are total 1,78,408 voters. Out of 1,78 ,408 voters, 93,174 voters are male and 85,228 voters are women. He also said that altogether 4,200 employees would be deployed for conducting the poll in 812 voting centres in the district.
