59th Session of Bodo Sahiya Sabha From Today

GORESWAR: The 59th session of Bodo Sahitya Sabha will begin from Monday with a three-day long colourful programme at Dauharu Fwthar, Khoirabari in Udalguri district. Lwmshraw Daimary and Maheswar Boro, the president and secretary respectively of the reception committee of the 59th session of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha, said that more than 50,000 representatives will take part in the session. Representatives will also come from neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh and neighbouring States like Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Meghalaya and West Bengal.

To make the 59th session of Bodo Sahitya Sabha a successful one, the reception committee has already decorated the Dauharu Fwthar (field) with the help of local people. Covering 800 bighas of land, the Bodo Sahitya Sabha has made a pandal, main gate, dining hall, guest house, representative hall and exhibition hall.
