60 year old Uncle caught molesting her Niece inside 'Jonaki Cinema Hall' in Tezpur

Tezpur: In yet another heinous incident, a 60-year-old notorious man was caught red-handed by some people at the Jonaki Cinema Hall in Tezpur for allegedly molesting his own 10-year-old niece during a matinee show on Thursday afternoon.

The notorious uncle was reported to have lured his niece for a matinee show at Jonaki Cinema Hall and took an attempt to molest her.

As per eyewitnesses the person took her to a corner seat inside the cinema hall and molested her physically.

As per the recorded statement of the minor girl, the person had earlier molested her on several occasions and made illicit remarks to her for getting physical, said one of the Police officials.

The person was apprehended by the local people who claimed that the notorious uncle made his entry inside the premises of the cinema hall along with her niece in the middle of the matinee show.

Police sources have informed that the girl was left terrified.

She was unable to express her problems and nightmares she was going through, informed one of the police officials.

The person was arrested by Tezpur Police and are now being interrogated.
