65 people under quarantine in Demow Block Primary Health Centre

DEMOW: The number of people quarantined in the 80-bedded quarantine centre under Demow Block Primary Health Centre set up in Sivasagar Polytechnic Institution has increased to 65. On April 21, 19 people were kept in the quarantine centre in Sivasagar Polytechnic Institution at Demow Barua Changmai Gaon. According to sources, the 19 people are daily wage workers who returned home from Nagaland on foot. The administration, with the help of the health department, sent them to the quarantine centre. There were already 46 people under quarantine in the Sivasagar Polytechnic Institution quarantine centre.
