The 65th Foundation Day of Biswanath College was observed on Tuesday.

BISWANATH CHARIALI: The 65th Foundation Day of Biswanath College was observed on Tuesday. The programme commenced with flag hoisting, swahid tarpan and a plantation drive. Taking part as the chief guest, Prof Nani Gopal Mahanta, Advisor, Education, Government of Assam appreciated the infrastructure and quality of the college. He said that the demand for incorporation of Commerce under provincialization is the right demand and government would work on it so that the college will be a full fledged multidisclinary college which will help to enact new education policy. A newly constructed computer science building was also inaugurated by Prof Mahanta. The meeting was attended by students, teachers, and many other dignitaries from the area.
