69 test COVID positive in Morigaon district

JAGIROAD: A total of 10,694 persons in the district of Morigaon tested COVID-19 positive since April this year. An official statement said that so far in the district of Morigaon, RAT was done on 2,11,687 people while RTPCR was done on 7,472.The statement also said that on Wednesday, 69 persons in the district tested positive. According to the new SOP declared on Wednesday, the entire district of Morigaon is under total containment until further order. The district administration has called upon all to follow the new SOP and warned of strict punishment if anyone violates the rules. Meanwhile, the district administration imposed fine on some grocery shops which violate the new SOP. Conscious section of people has urged the administration to take more punitive action against law violators.
