70 bags of rice seized at Kawatika village in Chirang district

Guwahati: On Thursday night, a house search was carried out at Kawatika village under Bijni PS and a total of 70 bags of rice were seized from the residence of Ali Ahmed of Kawatika village under Bijni PS of Chirang district. The weight of each bag was 50 kg. The rice bags were from UP as mentioned in the bags. The investigation is going on, stated a press release.
